Local Grand Junction woman contacted by France, Croatia and China to sell goods.
Local Grand Junction woman, Manessa Quillin, owner of Manessa’s World of Music was contacted recently by France, Croatia, China and other countries to sell violins, cello cases and other unique instruments which she calls the “Visual Arts Collection”.
Manessa Quillin announced at the Chamber of Commerce orientation meeting on Tuesday, January 29 that she had been contacted by companies in France, Croatia, China and other countries to sell advanced and professional level string instruments, primarily the violin, viola and cello and cases which she has given the name of Visual Arts Collection. Manessa, the owner of Manessa's World of Music, has been accumulating different hand painted violins, violas and cellos along with crystal instruments and special colorful cases and incorporating them into the Visual Arts Collection which Manessa has trademarked to be her own line. The professional grade instruments are from master luthiers from France, Italy, Australia and the US as well as The Kapsch company in Croatia which manufactures unique cello cases which can be seen on Manessa’s website in the next week.
Manessa, once a professional violin, viola and cello player herself, prides herself on the quality of the instruments and cases on her website and hopes to gain the confidence of string instrument players around the world. "My motto is 'Where the traditional meets the extraordinary.'" states Manessa. "But I don't allow the extraordinary to interfere with the quality of the instruments. I am proud of the fact that luthiers and around the world and the manufacturers of unique cases are noticing my website, but I am hoping that string players in America will begin to also notice my website and know that it is a respectable and quality website."
Manessa continues to work hard to introduce the various luthier lines in her website and to provide as many videos as possible to let string instrument players know that there are quality instruments to be found on http://www.ManessasWorldofMusic.com. Manessa also has a place in her heart for the underprivileged students who wish to learn to play string instruments. She plans to give lessons soon to underprivileged children who can't afford lessons on their own. Manessa is indeed someone to be paying attention to as she continues her work.
