China has become the first country outside of the U.S. to take delivery of its 1,000th plane from The Boeing Co. Boeing (NYSE: BA) announced the milestone on Friday, with plane No. 1,000 being a 737-800 handed off to China Eastern Airlines. The company also predicts the market in China to continue to grow, expecting the country to need 5,260 new commercial airliners — from all manufacturers — valued at $670 billion over the next 20 years.
