China’s copper imports rose 13.5 per cent in November from the previous month, boosted by the arrival of delayed shipments after a week-long holiday in October but overall demand for the metal remained weak.
Arrivals of anode, refined copper, alloy and semi-finished copper products stood at 365,331 tonnes in November, customs data showed on Monday.
Imports had dropped 18.5 per cent month-on-month in October to 321,879 tonnes because of the National Day holiday. Reported by S.China Morning Post 4 hours ago.
